often times forums are setup with little to no protection for members work
if John Smith has worked for months developing an idea, theory or some process
and he then posts his results on an open forum everyone benefits from his work.

if after a time someone else decides to take credit for John's contribution to the forum
is it not reasonable for John to take exception to being ripped off? maybe John decides not
to share as much next time?  everyone loses.

this forum something a bit different is going to get a try, if someone/anyone (even John Smith)
has worked on a project, spent his time, effort and money on it, and decides to share the results
he can do so here in the "White paper" section, where it will be locked down and attributed to him
from that point onward.

If John is not getting paid for his efforts, shouldn't he at least maintain ownership of his efforts
at least on this forum?  the answer is obviously yes.

this "White papers" section will also be used to post links to other "white papers" of interest from other sources that might have use to the membership of the forum. Should a member come across
a "white paper" he thinks might be useful with this forum, simply write up a short explanation of what the content is about and post a link.

over time this section should amass a broad assortment of research material from various sources that many if not all of the membership could benefit from.
