Got a chance to mess around with the 8/1 some today. Here's what a few hours with Mr. Needlescaler gets you. Found LOTS of sand pockets, especially around the stud bosses and in the lower sump. I hosed it down with Dawn Power Dissolver to get rid of rest of the of paint inside & out, and tomorrow I hope to squirt some color....
