Title: ST Mods and sources for American rectifier?
Post by: playdiesel on May 25, 2010, 06:13:21 AM
I keep reading that I should change some things on my new ST heads 5 and 15KW before I run them. The junction box is understandable ( I am electricaly challanged , not mechanicaly) I have test run my 15 and I see that it will be shaken to bits in short order. I also see that I should shange the rectifier to an American style but I see no specs or sources listed. Would one of you guys care to enlighten me with some specs and/or sources? Part number would be great.

thanks in advance

I would use KBPC3510 for the ST-5 and for the ST-15 KBPC7010...

My decision was made for me!
The Chinese rectifier smoked the first time I turned her over!

Welcome to the club, mine fried the first time a good load was applied. The quality replacement has worked well for about 1000 hours now.
