Update on those little PM generators from "the east".
From what I can find, they only produce 1/8th of their rated performance.

This fellow revs a 300 watt unit up to the rated 550 rpm and gets 49 watts from it.  :(

Well I was able to spin it up to 2300 rpm today with a combination of pulleys that I had. No load was 46 volts. Not enough voltage for a 48v bank. Looks like it will probably want at least 2800 rpm to produce the voltage I'm looking for

Do you have pictures of these units? I have pretty good knowledge of these PMGs. Most likely going to have to spin them in the 2700 - 3600 RPM range to make voltage. Were designed to output 52Vdc in a high wye config while being attached to a small air cooled engine.
