Is overkill bad? Price wise the one I linked was only $16 where the cheapest 006 is $130

Well bigger isn't always better...  You did ask for input.  I think I got my 006 for around $40 including shipping.

Jedon,

I used a pump like this with good results.  It keeps the engine temp uniform from bottom of cylinder to top of head.  195 F thermostat IIRC.

Well I finally got the Grundfos water pump and installed it, ran for about an hour and got to 190F then was creeping up to 195 so I turned on the fan which dropped it down to 160 so I angled the fan so it only hit the radiator a little and that kept it right at 180F with a 2KW load from the inverters. Ran it for 5 hours with no problems. Hard to tell if the pump is working, I guess it is since it stays cool, either that or it has less water resistance and I'm thermo siphoning.
