Rotella T6

Anybody run Rotella T6  (full synthetic) 5-40 oil in their lister/listeroids?

I ran a full synthetic 5w40 in my 6/1 one winter when I was still hand starting.  Way easier cranking. No other changes noted.

Bruce, did your Gast air starter have any trouble cranking your engine when it was cold?

Not Bruce, but I also use a gast (4am if i remember correctly) air starter on my 6/1 and it has had no problem turning it over in wintertime with 30 weight conventional oil .  You must use the decompressor with this air starter winter or summer.  

ps it rarely will get below 25 degrees in my garage.

+1. I've had no trouble with the Gast 4am starting in the coldest weather.
