when i was doing the testing and talking to the transformer engineers my question was based on the use
of 3 APC ups output transformers...

yes their output is 60hz, however i suspect that the build quality, the steel and the steel thickness is probably superior to that of the garden variety 60hz transformer.

it might prove out that common 60hz transformers would have higher losses at 400 plus hz than the ups
transformer?
