Rajkot plans to hurl pieces of machinery to Mars

This story just broke, pun intended.  :D.  India is reportedly about to launch a large hunk of machinery hoping to reach the Red Planet.  I wonder how many standard factory finish Rajkot Listeroid flywheels they plan to overspeed in order to obtain the necessary 'lifting force'?

India Space Program, now that's a concept!

It's pretty obvious that Santaco Airlines made it to somewhere in China looking at the air quality.

The last time I flew on a Mexican airlines box with wings the only sound we heard above the engines was beads being counted and Hail Marys.

Funny photo.

I'm quite sure that India's space program will not involve Rajkot manufacturers, as much as I appreciate my Listeroid 6/1.  I know that India has some world class engineers and scientists that make most of us look like the hobby class cobblers we are.

I admire their space program efforts and can appreciate their attitude towards the US government and "corporate rights".  Few countries in the world have the balls for that.

$73,000,000 isn't that much for a country with 1,200,000,000 people.  That's only $16 per person.  I wonder how many people are living on less than this per week?

$73,000,000?  These folks have saved that and more over the years on personal travel alone.  Geeze, look at all the money that they save on commuter rail transportation!

Well, They got the Bird to Fly.
No fireworks or explosions or any of that entertaining stuff. The chinese do it much better. Spectacular explosions that only the inventors of gunpowder can really master.

Now, If they can just bring out a decent Roid that acts like an engine and not a Jackhammer and they would stop being complete pains in the arse ringing me trying to sell me all manner of crap when they can't speak so I can understand a word they are saying, the country would take on a whole new respect in my book.
