This DAYTON generator/power head just showed up on local CL.  I can't find any info on the model on Graingers.  I know it's a 3600 rpm unit.

You could get an ST5 for that kind of $. Brand new with fresh yack grease and a tail light warranty too.

FWIW, I was looking to see if anyone had any info on the particular gen head or point me to a place to find info.  Google searching has brought up nothing.

Can I get an ST shipped to me in Albuquerque for that price?  Also, I never pay the posted CL price.

mobile_bob

i think that head is made by "winco" for dayton
you might do some googling on that direction

Yep......looks like a Winco. Here is a 1800 rpm 4000 watt 120/220v winco.

Bob you are correct. It is a Winco. We went over this Winco type about 3 years ago. This 4000 watt model has not been built for years.

This Dayton/Winco is an older design. I spoke to someone at Winco a few years ago about these models and I believe the full output current goes through the brushes.

I'm thinking since it was so hard to find any info on it I should probably pass.  Can't imagine trying to find parts for it.

thanks for the info.
