Two alternators on one battery bank?

Just an FYI, twin engine aircraft often use just one battery. The alternators are paralleled with voltage regulator adjustments. So, the only difference is an adjustable regulator on each "leg".

Having a different set regulation point on the two regulators would certainly help reduce the chance of an oscillation problem.  On the other currently active thread about the 10SI alternators, SquareBob shows that the regulation voltage for this model can be changed via adding an external diode to the #2 terminal +12V input.  If one regulator uses a standard diode, and the other a Schottky diode, your odds for success would improve, in my mind, at least.
