Joel Koch is out of the hostpital and is at home resting. He is still weak but he is up beat on his progress.

I was wondering when you were going to change the name of the thread.  I've been blessed with great health so Joel is living through many of my nightmares.  I'm glad to hear he's back on home turf.

Joel is doing good. The doctors are surprised  how well he is doing. He is out and about doing things once again.

Glad to hear he's doing OK. Having had my own first trip to A&E (with Pneumonia) the other week, I've realised just how fragile even good health is, and how badly debilitating poor health is...

PS - Ade, glad to also hear you're feeling better.  As someone who's had pneumonia 3x, I've learned not to screw around with it and get into the doctor at the first sign of something lingering in my chest.  It comes back worse each time if one doesn't get it taken care of.

Brothers and sisters over 60.  Talk to your doctor now about pneumonia shots.  Historically it is known as the oldsters friend (pneumonia not the shot.)
