Hiding email address

Hi Guys, is it just me or can one not hide your email address? I did put a "tick" in the appropriate box in my profile, but it still shows up when I look at my post.
I see that most users have an email by their signatures, but some don't so it must be possible to disable.

When I look at your post, I cannot see your email envelope.
You are hidden.

I noted the same thing when I look at my posts, the email envelope is visible, however I don't think others can see it.

Thanks guys, but looking at the three posts in this thread now, I see my envelope and also Jens, but not veggie's.
I click on mine or Jens and my email program opens with the address! (Maybe Jens's are enabled)
I'll check my profile again to make sure I did put the "tick" in the box.
After that I'll clear my internet cache, maybe that has something to do with it, but I doubt it.
I'll report back in a few minutes.

No, clearing my cache didn't help and I do have a tick in the "hide email" box.

Maybe its like Jens said, that the software knows it's me and shows my envelope, when I don't log-in (Guest), I don't see it on mine or Jens.

I'll leave it at that for now I suppose.
