back in the 70's with the advent of compound turbocharging those tractors there were frequent cast iron hemmorages

i remember one DT466 IH tractor, triple compound turbo running 105psi intake pressure, it left a pile of scrap very similar
to the youtube clip.

lots of iron used to end up in the spectators laps too!

insane amounts of power possible with enough air stuffed into the cylinders, along with lots of fuel
