and it is time to do a bit of restructuring the forum

we have decided to appoint some members as moderators
based on participation, experience, interest and a few other things.

the general thinking is the forum really needs no moderation, so perhaps
the term moderator should be thought of as a board coordinator?

by coordinator it is meant that he who has that designation does a few things
that are helpful to the forum in general and helps to maintain and promote
his board in particular.

for instance

johndoe has experience and owns a ford tractor, so he is asked to be a moderator
of our "ford tractor" board (we don't have a ford tractor board, and sorry to say
are not planning for one),
his primary responsibility is to keep an eye out for spammers and stop that as quickly as
possible, his secondary responsibilities are to his ford tractor board and those members
that frequent that board, doing general maintenance and promoting his board to new members
that sort of thing

i don't think we need a "police" presense  here, this group seems to be very well behaved
and for the most part we seem to be all if not good friends at least some sort of family.

over the next week or so, i will be sending out emails and pm's to forum members
asking for certain folks that are obvious choices for the post of moderator for specific forums.

we will probably start slow, adding a few for our most popular boards, and maybe combine some of
the less travel boards under a single moderator.

apart from specific members lobbying for the job,  i am open to suggestions.

In modern uncertain environment, ensuring the safety of your valuables is essential to ensure confidence. One of the most effective ways to protect your belongings is by committing in a top-notch safe. From vital documents to precious jewelry, a safe provides a safe storage solution for items of considerable value.

One of the key factors to consider when buying a safe is its extent of security. High-security safes are equipped with advanced locking mechanisms, such as fingerprint scanners or digital keypads, to deter unauthorized access. Additionally, the construction of the safe plays a crucial role in its security features. Look for safes made from durable materials like steel or alloy, which offer resistance against tampering and break-ins.

Regular maintenance of your safe is also vital to ensure its continued effectiveness. This includes regular inspections to check for signs of wear and tear, as well as lubricating the locking mechanism to keep it working smoothly. It's also important to keep the interior of the safe clean and clear from dust and debris, as this can affect its performance over time.

Furthermore, think about the placement of your safe within your home or business. Choose a location that is unnoticeable yet easily accessible for authorized users. Avoid placing the safe in areas prone to floods or extreme temperatures, as this can harm its contents.

In conclusion, owning a safe is not just about having a secure place to store your valuables; it's about taking proactive steps to protect what matters most to you. By investing in a top-notch safe and properly maintaining it, you can ensure the safety and security of your belongings for years to come.
