Xantrex Trace inverter 5.5KW SW5548PV help

Is it possible to switch an SW5548PV inverter to a regular SW5548 inverter? The main difference I see are the lack of the generator relay and software. Is there anyone in the forum from the PNW that would work on a Trace SW5548 inverter or know where I could get a service manual? Any help would be appreciated.

Give John Hiel a call at DYNO batteries. He is a former Trace EE, and does some repair out of his garage.
