If Dave's lines are like mine they aren't wire braid over rubber hose, they are formed steel lines with banjo fittings welded to the ends, so it still could be done but you would need it least 1/2 inch diameter hose.

Another newbie here saying hi! Excellent forum you guys are putting together here, can't wait to see where it will go.
My interest here is in reliable emergency backup power... I'm on a ventilator from my Duchenne MD and also rely on a cough assist machine & other breathing treatment equipment to stay healthy.
