Yep.  They've been working on that design for a *long* time.  Many other mfgrs are also trying to perfect a diesel aircraft engine as well with limited success.  Turns out "diesel" and "light weight" are not exactly an easy combination to merge.  Both of the big boys (Lycoming and Continental) are currently working really hard towards that goal as the EPA (having been forced by some of the more extreme tree-huggers) has formally announced that leaded avgas is going away once and for all.  Frankly, I think that may be the final nail in the coffin for general aviation in the United States.  We've been teetering on the brink for quite a while and with fuel going away it's going to just kill things.

I heard about these diesel powered, super light weight engines designed specifically for aircraft...turbines I think they call 'em? Whatever happened to those?  ;D :P
Do engines get rewarded for their steam?

Funny!
Now, if only someone would produce one that cost less than a half-million dollars......
