MPPT design contest

Just wanted to make sure the folks on this forum know about this contest:

My skills are too limited to enter, but I am looking forward to the results, as with any luck I'll be able to build one. DIY MMPT seems to be a bit of a Holy Grail...

thanks for the heads up, about 2 years ago i got an email from  one of the parallax engineers and he was just getting started
on an mppt for his own use, at the time he was getting along pretty well iirc.

it is contests like this that will bring out the really cool possibilities
