Power out today

The power went out today about noon and after a half hour and with my computer UPS getting low I decided to go fire up the VW plant.  We were off for about two hours.  Seems a wayward car had spirited intercourse with one of the wooden poles on my road just south of me.  It is a 44 kV 3-phase line.  Not something I'd want to try with my own vehicle.  Just 'cause. 

Nice to have a backup system!

i remember vividly the first affair i witness between a '50 ford p/u and a power pole

the coupling begat a bill of $131.32 for me to pay for the replacement of that pole,

I've got so many aches and pains, headache that won't go away and debilitaing fatigue today I feel older than dirt.     ....and I'm not even a father OR a grandfather.
