Server problems

Hi folks,

I seem to be suffering some weird server problems... I think it's related to the underlying SQL database server (MariaDB), not sure how to fix it yet.

I suspect the site will be slow/unresponsive/etc. for a couple of days, it may also disappear without warning for (potentially) hours at a time, while I tinker under the hood.

Apologies to all. I'll try to get normal service resumed ASAP.

It should all be back to normal for now... I still need to get the DNS records updated though, will try to sort that this week...

The problem was, the old server took back control, but still tried to forward requests to the new server, and it all got terribly confusing.
