Don't worry, the prices will go back up when there is a premium charge for processing smaller batches at the refineries.

I have a diesel boiler for heat near Seattle, WA.  I know when the prices are going to drop or aren't going to go back up for a while.  The auto-fill fuel truck shows up.  You think you got a bunch of oil that is worth about 70 cents on the dollar of what you paid for it.  It's not easy being a small player in a large pond.

Here in Kona Hawaii diesel is still above $4 a gallon.  When it get down to $3 I'll go back to petro diesel to save my cubies of WVO.  May I add that the Isuzu NPR diesel is one of the greatest machines ever.

Cheers,

The Cap and Trade fuel tax is supposed to kick in tomorrow.  They say 12 cents/gallon at first (Kalifornia), but it is expected to increase thereafter.  Up to 76 cents/gallon by the California Air Resources Board's own analysis.  So enjoy your cheap gas while it lasts.

Costco here on the Big Island of Hawaii is about 75 cents a gallon cheaper than the folk just three blocks away.  From the lines you'd think we were facing a shortage.

How about our buddies on Wall Street.  The people in the street get a break and they fun into the chicken coupe screaming the sky is falling.

Ever wonder why a capitalistic nation taxes on income rather than capital?  8)

Wow!

Why aren't you guys filling 55 gallon drums with diesel?

OK, here's my prophecy.  In one year, even better - Christmas this year, Diesel will be back up to $4 a gallon and cheap gas will be $3 a gallon.

I burn very little diesel in my backup setup since it runs mostly on Natural Gas.
