Perhaps El Supremo on a budget might be more valid.

I need to charge 12 volt batteries.  Easy huh?

I need to charge a 36 volt bank for a golf cart apparatus.  Tougher?

I need to charge a 48 volt bank for a golf cart.  What's left?

I've looked at this one on Amazon and it just has too many unhappy campers for me:

Anytime the 1s are more than 10% of the 5s I get uncomfortable.  This puppy as you may see has a 47% factor.

Nice price.  Any suggestions other than rebuilding the factory units that are well made but have failed since the decade or century they were manufactured?  And I'd still need a mediocre 12 volt charger.

Casey,

These guys have a model for you.

12v, 24v, ad 48v in various amp ratings depending on your battery bank size.

I use the DLS-12-55 for my 12 volt battery bank.
They are smart chargers and provide Bulk, Buck, and Float modes.
There are dealers all over the place and they are available on Ebay also.

good luck,

The Itoa's have fairly poor Power Factor, and are limited to < 20A @ 120VAC. I don't know if they have 240V models.  If you need a LOT of charging amps, sometimes larger inverters have integral chargers in them.  Maybe a new one, or a used one, will be your beefy charger.  and they generally have really good PF .
