Thanks for the update! Now we need a guinea pig to try the rectification into a charge controller, any takers? Oh wait Geno is doing that?

Oops, I left out 180v.
Don't know what that would be useful for, but it is an option.

Unless I end up using the 60v rectified option, I'll go back to the PMG as I think it is more efficient.  That being said, I think I've found the most usable setup of the ST head for normal 120/240 power.

Perform the BS-ST head mod.  Rewire the pairs 180 degrees apart.  Connect 3KW transformer in parallel for load balancing.  As loads jump on and off line, I'm watching both ammeters climb and fall together  ;D .  I don't hear any groaning, and voltages are staying within 3 volts of each other!!!

Clear as mud I'm sure.

While it's possible to wire diodes in parallel, it seldom works well in high stress applications (like where you are tempted to wire them in parallel) If you do, you need to use "swamping resistors" to force the diodes to evenly share the load, otherwise, the diode with the the lowest Vf, will hog the load till it burns out, then the next lowest will hog . . .
