Delco 35si brushless

I have one. Anyone with any experience with these? Very unusual internals. It is NOT PM, but has the field coil stationary and mounted to the rear of the case. The rotor claws are open on one end to allow the field coil to slide inside the claws without touching them - looks like it might be doable to convert to a permanent magnet.

Rated at 12v @ 140a
