I like the Club Car units better. Of course I am biased! ( I used to be a Club Car factory tech).  Those EZ GO units  terminals come loose too easily.  If I remember correctly these should handle the full rated power of the 2 1/2 hp electric  motor at 36 volts.  Should be good for 500 amps.   There was only one solenoid on a 36 volt DS Electric, and all the traction motor power went through it.  When you stepped on the throttle you always could hear it kick in, before the wiper switch or the ESC engaged.    I've got the wiring diagram here if you need it.

From what little I've seen the Club Car is a cut above the rest.  That's the one with the aluminum chassis isn't it?

I have been warned many times about keeping the grounds independent of the chassis.  It's not a an automobile.  That wiring diagram would be handy to have for reference.

The aluminum frame is nice. I had to use an air chisel to chip off the two inch layer of corrosion from the sulfuric acid caking on the frame. What a mess but the frame was pretty good  had to build some battery supports from AL but these units are build tough.
