Bearing shells and hollow dippers needed

Jens, if a person were stuck he could have the journal finished ten under and use a 5 thou shim under standard shells. The bearing nip, crush, protrusion, or whatever you call it would have to be adjusted by removing approx 5 thou from the mating ends of the shells at the cap / rod parting line to re establish proper squeeze (which is really more important in anchoring the shells in the rod than the silly little finger of the dipper). It is a bit boerish but I have done worse and made it fly!

In this other thread I suggested that a member of this forum might consider receiving a large production run with consolidated shipping / import fees to help hold the retail price down. I directed this towards Dieselgman consideration but future reviewers of this thread may locate other source(s).
