looking at buying a 3kw turbine I found cheap.  I dont know what top weight is.  It is listed at just under 200#.  does that include the top of the tower or just the generator or what.  i asked the seller and all he knows is whats on the paper work, he never removed unit from crate.  the paper work reads "about 200#".

Being a 3kw turbine I would suspect that that is the weight of the Generator Head only.

I suspect it refers to gen head, turbine blade package and tail fin assembly, nothing to do with the tower.

my wind turbine was delivered last night.  it turns out the top weight in the paper work is the generator and the rotor/blades.  he also brought out two ge 110 volt dc generators 25 amp that were used for an elevator.  dont know much about them but accepted them also.  not sure of the the battery configuration for them would be.

  thanks for your input
