i am still liking the lister/petter 3 cylinder myself, and would buy one if i had use for that much power.
that is one slick, well built, well laid out piece of work.

attach a single brg head, and how much cleaner does it get?

Interesting thread. I have a deutz D2009 that I have been thinking of slowing  down to 1200 RPM since I don't need so much umph now... here is the thread I started.

I have the 2.3l 2009 L4 engine, the power curve is listed in this PDF. Looks like max torque is at 1600 RPM
