Hello to the group, after reading many of the posts I decided to take the plunge and join the group. Living in the Philippines is wonderful in regards to chinese engines. All models for sale on every street corner. Our electrical supply is an on-off-on affair so having the means to generate is the only way to get by. For us we use a chang Gong 195 and a newly aquired 1115. Both great machines with no faults from new. That is 195 is 5 yrs old and runs for about sixteen hrs a week. The 1115 is being prepared to work harder still. More to follow with photos included.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, those changfa style engines are excellent work horses.
Would love to see some pictures of these engines in action.
With 4100 hours on the model 195, did it need any major work yet? or is it just broken in ?   :)

Thanks for the welcome.
Veggie. only work done was re-lap inlet valve. air leaking back through air filter. I thought maybe carbon but head was clean with just a powder film. Having said that it only burns diesel ie no bio or WVO.. Horror of horrors I hear you say, but the cost of road fuel is almost a give away price so why take the chance with additional strip downs..
trid to load photos but the internet is bean can and string affair here :-[ (yes I am that old to remember) I will try early am when the system is not so busy.
