Until yesterday I was a DeRusto fan.  I spilled a couple of drops of brake fluid on my unused battery support tray and the following day when I wiped up the fluid residue - the paint came with it right down to steel.  I figure if it can't handle brake fluid it sure isn't going to handle battery acid or battery acid dust.  I really liked DeRusto because I need some paint -  I paint right out of the can.  Por 15 is very prone to "go off" here in Hawaii with the 75% humidity and absolutely no painting directly from the can as well as really only being a rust primer (a good one but still a primer.)

What is the cats pajamas industrial paint?  Something easy like JB Weld?  Is this an impossible dream?

Anything that will keep pajamas on a cat is gonna be powerful stuff!  :D  I have a friend who knows industrial coatings.  I'll ask him.

Actually, my cat always had a fondness for MY pajamas, not her own!!!  <grin>

Though she would pee on them from time to time when she was upset with you for one reason or another!  Nothing like grabbing your pj's off the chair where you threw them that morning and detecting the subtle, delicate odor of cat urine!!!

I suppose that comes under the heading of TMI!  <smile>

On that note, I'll shut up!

Wayne,

You got to get that hand healed boy!  Your idleness is starting to show.
