personally i don't think it is a bad buy, even if it needs work
there is a nice group of original parts, the bed plate, and all the other stuff
is very rare over in these parts,

my only issue is knowingly sell something without a reasonable disclosure

i got burned once on and ebay transaction, a pair of 3600 watt true sine wave inverters
out of a motor coach that had "light smoke damage"

what i found when i got them was the owner had removed the case covers and had full knowlege
that the inverters went thermo nuclear and were the "cause" of the smoke damage to the coach!
not the other way around!

that was 400 bucks plus about another 200 bucks in shipping down the drain.

so yes i get a bit grouchy about guys knowingly selling damaged goods and representing them as being
functional or serviceable.

I saw a vid over on the utterpower site, looked like an old Changfa running a circular saw that was used for a sawmill.
5 or 6 guys picked up a log and ran it through the saw by hand........ that poor old engine lived  a life that was rougher than a night in jail.
Kinda scary too! I hope this one was treated much better.
