thought to post here photos about project.

most likely i made first changfa powered excavator.. photos are from july and it is almost ready except electrics. and few modifications to tracks. all handmade.

i can recommend this engine to small excavators. it works fine even at idle speed and takes only 0,5 liters per hour when idle speed. or near that. i used that speed because accuracy.

That looks just way too kewl!  How do you keep it from falling over from the weight of a loaded bucket?  Is that a giant roller chain and sprocket to turn the cab in azimuth?

It is very close to tip over with full bucket boom extended. I have been looking steel counterweight, it would help a lot.

Yes, it is very big chain. Other solutions would have cost way too much. That is quite ok. I welded gear myself, once again because it was cheaper..
