I looked into it, it's an improved version of their same old system it looks like, uses fisher-paykel motors and plastic pelton wheels.

I've been looking at them, too.   It *is* a little cheaper than some vendors and I like the completely enclosed housing .   But the plastic pelton wheels don't look long lasting.    I asked our local hydro guy about Powerspout (he writes articles for Homepower magazine and is one of 3 guys approved by Outback to setup hydro through the MX60 & MX80 charge controllers).   Of course he is going to try to steer me into his business, but he thinks Powerspouts are cheaper knockoff's of the higher quality custom hydro plants.  FWIW.
