Flywheel paint

Has anyone tried high friction paint on flywheels in order to increase the grip of a belt on the outside rim of a flywheel ? I had chirping issues in the past so I am thinking that maybe this might improve things.
I am not interested in the 'just mix in some grit' solution that is often used on stair treads or similar as I suspect it would be very hard on the belt.

Imo and experience, trying to increase the friction of a pully/belt with a coating is never effective over any real length of time.  Are you still turning that monster oversized generator head?  Physics is physics, and you aren't going to effectively drive a railroad spike with a tac hammer.  IMO the only way you are going to stop the belt chirp and wear is to add a second belt or get a smaller generator head.  I don't think I have heard of anyone else running a 20/2 having belt issues...

I used truck bed liner rubberized black paint on the rim and red high temp paint on the rest of flywheel.  I have not any slippage or wear problems but I am only spinning a ST5 using an eight rib surpentine belt.  The high temp paint is brittle and the thought was that it would reveal any stress cracking in the cast iron flywheel should it ever occur...and it hasn't yet...
