I'm in the proces of buying a 12/1 from Poweranand, because my 6/1 is a little too weak for wifey's needs....
Now if i slow it down to say 850 rpm how many hp can I expect? My guess is 9 hp, but i don't know.

Does anyone here own a 12/1?
How is the quality from Poweranand?

i agree with Jens, the cheapest time to get spare parts is with the original engine order, reason
being is they know you don't need the spares now and can easily opt to not get them if they are priced too high.

later if you contact them for spares they know you are likely in a world of hurt and they price accordingly.

that is to say nothing of the difference in shipping costs.
