I went once, it really didn't have anything I was interested in.
It's mostly about how to select your contractor to have your commercial solar/wind stuff installed and how to finance it.
They only had one section on DIY, and it was on solar cooking.

Lots of social interaction and my activist friend loves it due to the politics available.

Not my cup of tea,

I've gone for years, the politics there are not my cup of tea.
I have alway come away with ideas and good info.
I am a contractor so I guess I would pick up more ideas.
Sorry you didn't get more out of your experience.
Fried cheese curd is always great!

I'll take the fried cheese curds any day of the week !
That *is* a good reason to go, along with the microbrewed beer that's available on-site.

Now "poke sallett", well, it's edible, I guess. :)
I had to eat too much of it when I was growing up...
