Great opportunity to purchase a new Kubota 2 cylinder diesel engine.

Model Z402, Serial #4N6777, Code #16653-11000, Engine Family 4KBXL.400KCG ECS, Output 7.0KW.  As you can see This has a generator attached to it but I do not have any of the electronics to hook-up the generator.  You are basically buying just the engine.

Why would someone pay $1500 for an engine that they could get for <$800 at surplus center ?  The ad states that one is buying only the engine ?
