we got our first spam this afternoon, his post
along with a member who reported it have been deleted
and the spammer has been banned for life, and his account
deleted as well.

we will do our best to keep on top of this crap, goes with the
territory they say.

and it just became easier to take down the whole thing.

btw, thanks to the member who reported it, and i did not delete
your post for any reason other than it was just easier to get rid
of the spammer that way,

and had i left the post, it would have been a bit confusing

Copy their IP and add that to your Ban list, otherwise the little bugger will be back with a new name.

you will find that a lot of new users come from weird service providers from ru or UK or AE... most are spammers.  Welcome to my world... pain in the backside... but interesting to see the new software handles this a poorly as the old.
