Here is my new restorations project, Yanmar TS-105C (10HP) with a two pole Winco 5.3 KW .

After searching the net for more info, I found that this set is from the 70's.

Wow. Nice looking set. Doesn't look that old. How did you end up with it?

That Yanmar looks like a very nice engine. Can we see some more pictures of it?

A high quality engine like the Kubota's

I found it in Craigslist.

Thanks Henry...That day took his first baths in years, if you see all the oil and paint that unit had...

Yea, it is high quality alright. Good find. :)

This will be a nice project. Keep us updated with your progress.

Did you look into parts availability with a Yanmar dealer.

Some of the Winco gen heads had a start winding built into them, I think i'd crack it open & have a look inside.

Now that would be cool!

That would be a find indeed.

On parts, there isn't a problem. I hope Changfa be the same in 20+ years....

I just order all the fuel lines, fan belt, gaskets, and some spares of oil and diesel filters.

This engine shares a lot of parts with the TS and TF that they are still in productions.

I hope she ( s195/ST) doesn't get  jealous to the new Red/Blue combo next to her... :D :D

Glad to hear parts are still available. The thing to do is to stock up on some now just in case.

No we won't get jealous it's good having new projects coming up. I would like to get an internal shot of the crankcase.

I think you will have fun with your new project It is an nice setup an should last for some time.
