Hurricane Sandy on the way

My son sent me this.  He said it was making the rounds at Liberty University yesterday.
Made me want to stand in the rain for a little while and think about it.

So I spent the weekend being fat, dumb and happy.  Of course I wasn't watching the news - on a weekend?  You kind of get lulled into a trance here in Paradise with the weather pretty much the same ranging from just about right to just about right with afternoon showers and then once in a while a wonderful night-time rain.  But then I watch PBS last night and

Wow!  Now that's what I call a storm.  I know some day we'll learn to put some of our back-up generators on the fourth floor and just eat the noise for those few days or weeks a year we might need them.  It'll probably take a regulation because it's just so darn sensible and there's far more rental income for the fourth floor over the basement.  "Why does the government always try to control everything?"

The only constant is change.  I'd guess "The Cause" would seem somewhat intellectual when you're waiting on the roof for the next boat or helicopter.

Do any of you have suggestions in addition to the American Red Cross?

I don't care either, but I also don't think it's useful to use our brave young men in a hoax.

When you read their twitter feed you'll see they were even a little irritated.
