Organic Rankine Cycle

Lots of research has gone into ORC waste heat recovery systems. I'm
currently doing research and the beginning stage of a prototype turbine
exchanger system. There are too many ways to fire a small system to cover
all of them here, but several are very simple in theory. This system of freon
boiler based power generation is very nearly a reality for the average guy.

The Proe system has been around for a while, it seems to be
fairly well defined. This does appear to be doable on our level too.

My research is leading me to believe that with something as simple as a
2 cylinder Semi hermetic AC Compressor and some basic heat exchange
equipment you could produce power with your water heater. A waste oil
burner would be a better heat source . I've read numerous white papers dealing
with this system, geothermal is already being used with the refrigerant working
fluid. Home scale systems are being worked up as we speak.
