Hi,
I was searching the internet for truck APU's to try and get a better idea of how various manufacturers design their systems. I bumped into this train version, which I thought was interesting because it is able to capture both coolant and exhaust heat from these small engines.

I like the looks on the spec sheet, at 72v @50a I could charge the car in about an hour. Then through the charge controller to charge house batts and heat the DHW and underfloor all at the same time, now all I have to do is tweek the reg on my slowly being built CHP and see if I can get 86v and that should give me about 20a to play with, hmmm 3 hours to charge car and add time to heat bank.
