WARNING - Changfa Fuel Hose NOT compatible with Biodiesel

After running biodiesel in the Changfa 195 for a couple of months I noted the fuel line became very soft.
Not long after that, a bubble/blister formed in the hose. If I had not caught it, the entire fuel tank would have emptied onto the shop floor. (once again putting me in the dog house  :(  )

The solution for anyone wanting to run biodiesel in their Changfa is to replace the existing fuel hose with automotive "Fuel Injector" hose.
This hose can be identified by the blue VITON liner on the inside. It's available from most auto parts stores.

I took the the original hose and the new VITON hose to a hydraulic shop and they swapped the banjo fittings for me.
The crimp fittings on the Changfa hoses are reusable.

Actually, I can't tell any difference in performance, but the exhaust smells much nicer  :)
Very much like the model airplane fuel I used to burn in my models.
No complaints from my wife about that "diesel stink".
I found that even with biodiesel blends like B20 (20% bio and 80% dino diesel) the exhaust odor is much more tolerable.
