I'm bidding on this on Ebay.....
It looks like a little, old changfa.
Does anyone know anything about these, so I can research it more?
How high should I bid? (subjective question to be sure, but what would you bid if you didn't like me)  ::)

weibe (sp?) has a video of one of the old Kubota's on here, I watched it yesterday I think. Pretty interesting, he said they were used on milking machines in the 50's and 60's IIRC. He could probably give a good opinion.

Well, the chinese had to copy somebody didn't they? It's not in their nature to invent new things...
Do engines get rewarded for their steam?

I think its a new engine then mine ,
But ist not to much money i think ,when its in good running order .
I think they were used in road signs, just powering the lamps.
You can find specs and pictures of the horizontal single cilinder engine on de kubota site.

http://www.engine.kubota.ne.jp/english/catalog2/index.html
Look at the pdf file .
http://www.engine.kubota.ne.jp/english/information/kubota_ads/pdf/ptki200701.pdf

I think its the ea ore ae 330 engine

The kubota site is making me mad now ,you have to read japanese.chinese to see the 3 world engines.
In englis only the epa comp engines are on the site .but at the above links there is something to see.

Greetings Wiebe.

It is a EA300. Nice engines. Hp. rating is at 3000 rpm. aluminum block with steel wet liner. They also have counter ballance shaft and helical cut gears to run gear train. they run good down to 2500 rpm and still produce good power.

I've been out of the loop for 3 days.  A friend showed up (surprise visit) from New Jersey.  I was away from the house, and never got the chance to put in another bid :(   So sadly, NO, I didn't get it.  Grrr.
That should teach me to not wait for the last minute to put in bids.

And that's the real reason that I use an automatic proxy bidding application, on account of I "fergit". A lot. ::)
