Be sure to check which liner you have in the S195 engine. There are two types of liners used in the block.

Stepped liner: Liner is above the block.

Flush liner: Liner is flush with the block.

I had the flush liner on my S195 Direct Injected engine and this is a comment I wrote in November 23, 2009, 06:53:00 AM:

I measured the S195 DI gasket I have.

•   Bore:  97.2mm / 3.827in.
•   Thickness:  1.93mm / .76in.

All bolt locations and water passages look like they are in the right location.
It looks like the S-195-NA will work fine for the S195 Direct Injected Engines.

We think the engine manufactures pressed what ever liners they had in stock in the S195 block and than used an appropriate head gasket during assembly.

there are at least two different changfa 195 head gaskets

one fits the flat top liner, the other for the stepped liner

it appears that the flat top liner is common to the direct injected engine's while
the stepped liner is common to the indirect injected engine's

the direct injected flat top liner engine uses a copper clad sandwich gskt, with the bore diameter
that is about the same as the liner bore, and
the indirect uses a steel cored fiber gasket that has a larger bore so that it can fit around the step on
the stepped liner.

from gasketstogo  the indirect injected 195 with stepped liner use the S1100 gskt, it is also much stronger
than the original changfa headgskt which is prone to failure when the engine is run at higher output levels

so for the s195 indirect injected engine with stepped liner, use the S1100 gasket from Gaskets to Go

Here are some pictures of the new composite gasket (Part Number S-195-NA) for the flat top liner Changfa S195 Direct Injected Engine from www.changfagaskets.com next to the copper oem gasket. The composite gasket looks like a much higher quality gasket.
