Next time you have the breather inspection cover off look at the tin shield mounted on the inside that is used to prevent oil from blowing out the breather on the downstroke of the piston. I learned after a rebuild when I straightned out the tin shield and made it look better than the tin snip beer can piece of garbage that came from the factory you need a big opening! I started it after a rebuild and it began to puke out the breather at an alarming rate! I found if the shield does not have a big enough opening the high velocity from the downstroke of the piston will take oil with it. The fix was to make a big opening so lots of air can move through and not pick up oil on it's way. That was on a single so I'm not sure if it would help on a twin but worth looking at.
