Lava at 100 feet.  Where are you?  If you need any extra it starts at ground zero here.  Hence, few wells.

Just make sure you had a warranty on the water location and depth.   I did 2,  250' holes , full of shale.  I've got plenty of rock dust for my garden now.  Had to put in a pond, and still pay the well driller, and the water witch.

Hi Tom,

I'm in Hawaii.  There are wells here but they tend to be within a half mile of the coast.  This is for two reasons.  All the islands here have an aquifer under each island that is keep fresh by rain and lava seepage.  Too close to the coast and brine sneaks its way in.  The islands are actually mountains so as you go inland the lava gets deep really fast.  30 foot wells start at above $10,000.  And if you go too deep well I hear it starts getting hot down there.

As for your well.  Bonsai or good luck and forever.

60 GPM.

Now that's what I call a Well.  What did you decide on for a pump?  Variable rate or fixed with a tank?  How far up the well does it fill?
