To the folks that keep the forum running:

My problem with not seeing inline pictures is now fixed.
The latest changes to the forum somehow seems to have cured the problem !?!??!? ???
I don't know what you did, but I can see them now !

Thanks !

Well, I didn't even know you were having a problem, but I'm glad it's fixed now! I just wish I knew what it was that I did..... unless Bob did it? Bob?
Cheers!

Bob (at least I think it was Bob) sent me a message giving me different things to try to fix the problem and nothing helped.

Don't you just hate it when you fix something and you don't know what you did to fix it ?
I always worry that the problem will come back for no reason at all.  :)

I'm old enough to remember when software was considered totally deterministic...
Not any more !
We used to have the concept of "jiggle the hardware" when you couldn't pinpoint a problem in a complex system.
Now we have "jiggle the software"; change the settings back and forth the same way hoping to bypass the subtle logic error that is causing the problem.

I used to call myself an "instrument psychologist" as most of the most difficult problems were due to some interaction between the user and the hardware.  :)
Now the same is almost true with software...

At least I know who to talk to if I have further problems...
Knock on wood...

i am not real sure what happened, all i know is i wiped out my membership in the process
and had to re-establish a new membership, and then reset the moderator thing

god only knows what happened, just glad it works!

it would be nice to know though if something positive came from all the late night frustration

:)

if anyone else is having issues with viewing pictures in the posts, let us know

i would be willing to delete my account again, if that is what it takes!   ::)
