What year the automotive maintenance-free lead acid was introduced?

This is reason when this battery showed up because my vehicle is so old that I don't know when if battery is right for that kind of vehicle.  I ask because I am having a problem with my 1987 carb caravan using regulator module to control charging voltage via alternator.  Continually slight undercharge on the maintenance-free battery,  measured around 14V-ish where maintenance-free battery needs up to 14.8V vs less voltage for low maintenance (removable caps for acid-level check and refill with plain water.

Just one washer.  Not doubled up, that's asking for failure.

Try chrysler copper crush washers for front brake like this used for 1984 thru 1995 caravans.

May have to cut it to correct size.

Did you find other piece of that copper washer?  Clean up well, and put new copper washer in there.  Take care that studs is sealed as some of them goes through cooling passage in the head.

What?  No plans to rebuild and bend the ear to quit fussing with injector pressure?

R165 changfa engine, who have this engine used or new available in canada?

Failing that, other types of 3HP in size would do diesel or gas, as long as it is liquid cooled?

After several troubles with the extension cord socket failed (replaced with new socket), broken battery solder pad in my switch-timer, forgetten lights and so on...

I have been visiting here and wondering if there is old small gas liquid-cooled engine with decent flywheel driving a 12V alternator, oh all I need is 2-3hp. (wishful: crank start not pull (I have trouble with pull start due to effort).
This would allow me to crank up if there was trouble with battery or heater, or engine too cold.  I have plenty of space in pass side of radiator blanking space there or rear area behind front seats but sealed well box with venting direct to below with wirings and pipings.

Some did, but most hot bulb engine comes with special torch that you have to lit up and heat the "bulb" for several minutes prior to start and most of them were air start as well due to massive-ness.  Small ones might be manual cranked.

This is calibration tool to vertify the stress strain sensors.  Also for other mesuring via stress.

Google and look up on youtube about Fiat's Multiair.  Chrysler engines will get these too, soon.

Have you found out how much watts in that engine heater?

Engine heaters operates on thermosiphon, no need for pump.

Not all consumer inverters is kinda iffy to handle thermal heaters IIRC.  And have you measured battery in current draw?  Some is not made for this heavy currents that long.

Have others chime in with correct type of battery?

I have read that unfortunate thing is that USA does have these rare earth materials but they have not invested in mining and process these.  To build up these takes at least a decade.  IIRC.
