I am working on a Kubota D1005.  The engine was seized and had moisture in one of the cylinder but after chemical and physical persuasion it turns over fine but I have not started it.  It is attached to an unknown generator head.  From what I know this was the pony motor for a much larger piece of equipment, it generated AC and powered the starter and work lights.  When the other piece of equipment was scrapped this was also tossed into the scrap pile and I rescued it with intentions to repurpose it.  It has not started in over 8 years.

I'm pretty confident I can get the engine running.  It's got compression, I don't know how much as I didn't measure it, and the injector pump inlets appear to have been filled with fuel the whole time.   The rear-most cylinder is the wild card - it seems it might have gotten a little rainwater in it at some point.

Also, check out the location of the oil filter - that looks different than other D1005s I have seen, and this one has a block off plate where the others had a filter...  what's the difference? Is there a benefit to running one or the other, or both filters?

Can any of you help out with identifying the generator?  Do you have any pointers where I could look for wiring diagrams to get it set up?  I'd like to produce 120 or 240 (is it possible to make both from the same generator?)
